Freelance live sound engineer in Estonia From idea to the last cable

I’m a live sound engineer and technical production manager with nearly 10 years in the industry. From club gigs and corporate events to weddings and festivals, I make sure everything sounds right, from the first plan until the last cable is wrapped.

Smaller event Own equipment

Up to ~200 guests. I bring my own PA and handle the full setup. Fast, flexible and self-contained.

Larger event With crew and partners

Concerts and festivals. I manage the technical production and bring in trusted suppliers for audio, staging and lighting.

Services

From small private events to large concerts and festivals. For events of up to ~200 guests I supply my own PA. For bigger shows I bring in a crew and hire equipment from partners, and run the entire technical side.

Live

Freelance sound engineer and production manager

I’ve been freelancing for almost 10 years. Around half of my work is with Soundhouse, which has given me solid hands-on experience across a wide range of events and productions.

I’ve worked with a wide range of artists and ensembles, from club gigs to festival stages. Most of my work is small and mid-sized events, but I’m just as comfortable on large concerts and festivals.

The youngest crew member

My dachshund often comes along. Plenty of soundchecks under the belt by now, happily napping between the cables and making sure the stage edges are in order.

~200guests

Own PA and transport. Two Electro-Voice EKX-15P tops and two EKX-18SP subs, together with consoles and microphones, make a compact but capable system for up to ~200 guests. The tops can be pole-mounted over the subs or used standalone, so the system works in smaller rooms and outdoors alike. I deliver, set up and tune everything myself, so your concert, corporate event or private party sounds clean and reliable from start to finish.

Frequently asked questions

What does a live sound engineer do at an event?

A sound engineer sets up the PA, microphones and mixing desk, runs a soundcheck before doors and mixes the sound throughout the event, so speeches are clear, the music sounds great and there’s no feedback.

Can I hire a PA system with a sound engineer?

Yes. For events of up to ~200 guests I bring my own PA, microphones and mixing desk, set everything up and stay for the whole event. For larger events and concerts I hire the equipment from partners such as Soundhouse and take care of all the sound myself. You don’t need to deal with any of the equipment.

Can you handle the technical production of an event?

Yes. I draw up the technical plan, coordinate audio, staging, lighting and video suppliers and make sure the technical side runs to schedule. My experience ranges from small private events to large festivals such as Tallinn Music Week and Station Narva.

Do you do weddings, birthdays and corporate parties?

Yes. I provide sound for weddings, birthdays, corporate parties, galas and conferences, covering live bands, DJs and the MC’s microphones.

How big a concert can you cover?

My own PA covers up to ~200 guests. For larger concerts and festivals the equipment comes from partners such as Soundhouse, while I handle the mixing and technical production.

Where do you work?

I’m based in Tallinn but work all over Estonia, from Harju County to Saaremaa, Pärnu and Narva, with my own transport. I’m also happy to work with touring artists and international event organisers coming to Estonia.
